This is my oil on canvas impression of Anne Hathaway. January 23, 2009, I stood next to Anne Hathaway at Creative Coalition's 2009 Inauguarl Ball in Washington. I was assisting television producer and talk show host Gregory Mantell as he "interviewed the stars." We stood in the Red Carpet lobby next to wide open doors. It was freezing cold, but a glowing Anne suddenly appeared next to us in a sleeveless red evening gown. She spoke in support of President Obama. She waved and spoke to a crowd of news media folks and bravely faced interviews one by one.
I'm retired and I love it! I paint and write the memories of my life...and in doing so, I create new memories!
At age 73, there's lots to remember. I've traveled much of the world, first with my engineer husband and family, secondly with my political career, and thirdly (in my imaginative mind) with my writing and painting. The last part is the most fun.
Below is what's been written about me. The me of today is in casual clothes with splashes of paint here and there. I think I've finally become eccentric. Yea!
