Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I love this print! Her dress is so pretty and victorian and I can daydream that this is me in another lifetime , contemplating life while visiting the sea

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Just exactly what I was looking for. Next time I’m in SFO, I’ll be sure to wear flowers in my hair! Thank you so much for bringing back all those memories.

This is a 2007 eBay purchase. I’d been looking for one at local yard sales, but none were to be had. It looked good and the price was right. It cost me $8 including shipping.
Photographers are a curious lot. Some are equipment hounds possessing every little doodad, thingamajig and whatchamacallit to make life easier, only to be bogged down by the amount of stuff they need to get on location. Others take a minimalist approach relying on their understanding of, trust in, and comfort with the equipment they have. Both camps love their gear, and will debate for hours about how Nikon is better than Canon, Hasselblad is better than Rollei or Mamiya, or vice versa, and well just about everyone agrees that Leica beats them all.
I love cameras.
I love what they do.
I love how they look.
And I love their individual view of the world.
Each one is similar in concept, design and intended purpose, but that is where the similarities fade to reveal the idiosy...
About Elena Bouvier
I am a documentarian and storyteller, an editorialist and voyeur. Photography is the constant that ties my past to my future. It is an action; a way of being and thinking that informs, distracts, consumes and enriches my experience of this life. It is a habit, a process so familiar that it sometimes feels like muscle memory. I push the shutter to document, to collect with clarity and accuracy the moments and things that will be transformed by time, memory and sentimentality. Often, my images strike me as visual metaphors of where I was emotionally when I physically made the image. Elena Bouvier is a Philadelphia-based artist whose creative voice has manifested itself in such varied endeavors as mural painting, professional...

It's interesting that just the other day I was thinking about making a PIN HOLE camera with a digital sensor! Wouldn't that be fun, I'm sure someone somewhere probably has a kit to make one.
