About Pamela Pretty
Pamela loves to paint en plein air and primarily uses soft pastel and oil as her main media .Primarily a landscape painter she is also well known for her animal studies and portraits. She lives and works in the Yarra Valley near Melbourne Victoria, Australia and paints in the fantastic locations that surround her home, the Yarra valley, Port Phillip bay and rural Victoria as well as New Zealand. She has been an artist in residence at St Vincents Hospital in 2011 and early 2012 and teaches pastel at her teaching studio in Surrey Hills, The Old Bakery Studio and at the Box Hill Community Art Centre.
