About Gerry Weatherhead
I was born in the very picturesque home county of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom and introduced to cameras and lenses at a very early age due to my father sharing the same interest in photography. I took my first ever photograph at the age of eight, under my father's careful guidance, using his much treasured Kodak 'Box Brownie' which I still keep in working order to this day. Since those early years, I have had many cameras pass through my hands, starting at the age of fifteen, when my father bought me my first 35mm SLR camera after I showed an increasing interest in photography.
