The day was not perfect beach weather, but still people in ones, or twos or clusters and dogs were out enjoying it. There is something about walking along the sand that makes people relaxed and contemplative. I haven't ever seen someone walking along the beach with a cellphone for example, as you see so many places. I loved looking at the scene - I just felt a sense of communion.
