I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.
Artist's Description
It's October 28, 1995, at Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta, Game 6 of the World Series, and Braves' lefthander Tom Glavine is dominating the Cleveland Indians. The Braves lead the series 3-2 and are looking to erase the frustrations of 1991, '92 and '93 and nail down the World Championship. In Game 2, Glavine had allowed just two runs on three hits in six innings to put the Braves ahead 2-0. Here, he's in total control, striking out Jim Thome to end the top of the fifth inning with a no-hitter intact. Tony Pena will lead off the sixth with a single, but it will be the Indians' only hit of the night. And David Justice's home run in the bottom of the sixth will give the Braves the only run they'll need before Mark Wohlers replaces Glavine in the ninth to retire the Indians in order for a 1-0 Atlanta victory. Glavine's Series stats: 14 innings, two runs, four hits, 11 strikeouts. Two wins. He's the World Series MVP. Original Painting was sold at auction...Only prints available
