On a previous hike through Ricketts Glen last summer, I photographed this small natural spillway and called it "Nameless Waterfall". It does not appear on any maps of the park. Recently, Tim Devine discovered the same spot and named his photo "Forgotten Falls". Each is such an appropriate description that I decided to use both terms in my title for this capture.

Often, especially during dry summers, this stream offers barely a trickle. It is a small feeder tributary of Kitchen Creek. This small stream runs from the Old Beaver Dam to the Ganoga branch of Kitchen Creek, at the footbridge at Mohican Falls.

The falls are very easily missed. It is hidden behind a huge fallen tree, with lots of thick undergrowth surrounding the area. This spot can be found just off of the Ganoga Glen trail, a short distance upstream from Conestoga Falls.
