I'm currently working mostly with spraypaint, acryllics, pen and ink, and stencils. Using my own photographs to create the designs, I've created this piece with the aforesaid. I mostly paint right on to plywood because I love the texture of wood grain, and in most all of my plywood pieces the wood grain is very visible.
My name is Iosua Tai Taeoalii (Josh); I am an American/Samoan artist and award winning filmmaker from Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm currently experimenting with a mix of photography, pen & ink, spray paint, stencils, acrylics and nature's wood grains to bring to fruition resolutions to my inquiries concerning the human condition.
