The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
I started this piece with newspaper images in 1972. Over 30 years later the paper had faded nicely, so I added a layer of bright white copy paper images and scraps to create some contrast. A jury selected this work to appear in the 2012 National Collage Show in Collegeville Pennsylvania. Attendees at the show voted it as The People's Choice,
About Douglas Fromm
Douglas Fromm is a self taught artist who started his career designing concert posters and record album covers for San Francisco rock bands. He is a Signature Member of the National Collage Society (USA), and has had work selected by juries to be exhibited in 10 different National Collage Shows during the years from 2009 through 2023. .. One of his works ( shown on FAA as "An Artist Contemplates Good and Evil" ) is part of the National Collage Teaching Collection at Kent State University, Ohio.

Thanks, Bunny.... sometimes I give up on works until the right scraps of paper finally show up. Other pieces are just not working out right, but I will look at them months or years later and the answer just pops into my erratic mind, I know exactly what went wrong and how to fix it !
