The sign at the Alcazar in Seville Spain was intriguing...Maria de Padilla Bathrooms. I wondered...was it possible the bathrooms were so exotic that they got an exotic name to go with them. And right about that time I could have used an exotic bathroom. No such luck. Apparently, the "Baths of Lady Maria de Padilla" are rainwater tanks beneath the Patio del Crucero. The tanks are named after Mar1a de Padilla, the mistress of Peter the Cruel.
