I took this with a Nikon film camera in 1995 during the Civil War reenactment of The Battle of Franklin. Recently I have been scanning some of my slides from the 1990s. I added a bit of texture to this one to give the image some character.
I've been a professional photographer since 1987 when I began capturing various equine events and rural activities on film. Traditional 35mm SLRs were my cameras of preference in the 1980s and ’90s, but since 2002 I have embraced the digital era. Now I also create digital paintings and use graphic art techniques on many of my images.
