A lone black angus, seemingly a herd of one, grazes in a grassy field in Peeple Valley, Arizona as a mountain range, somewhat obscured by approaching rain, looms in the background. This is my day-trip place of peace, at once revealing a somewhat unknown part of Arizona, and kindling memories of the Midwest of my youth, and my "farming" ancestors. :)
