Eastern carpenter bee (Xylocopa virginica) (feeding on bee balm (Monarda didyma) on a summer day in an Ohio garden. Other common names for the bee balm flower are bergamot, horsemint, and Oswego tea. Part of a series.
Bee balm is known for its medicinal qualities. This image and others with a spa like feel such as my bamboo and echinacea images, also found in my In the Garden gallery, would be great for the office or waiting room of a naturopath , chiropractor or other holistic natural healer. Cheery in a doctor or hospital waiting room as well.
