This drawing Is one that I did in high school. I named it "Behind The Barn" because this is the view you would see if you misbehaved and were taken out behind the barn for a spanking, whooping, or a beating, which ever you prefer to call it.
The real meaning behind this drawing is discipline. The assignment when I originally chose to draw the barn was something that was personal to me. Well I chose to draw the barn because it was close to the school and sat on the land that was the old family homestead where my father was born and grew up. I had heard the stories by my father and people that were of that same generation. They would say "If your bad, I will have to take you out behind the barn for a spanking.

Has Worked in the sign business as a designer and sign painter for most of his carreer. Became disabled from a car accident in 1994. Has worked as a freelance artis since Mainly doing portraits of people from photographs. Main highlights of carreer were the portrait of President Obama, autographed original. Also was featured on the Today Show "American Story, Payback Painter" with Bob Dotson.
