About Maz Scales
Born in England I got a taste for travel when my family lived in Malta for 2 years. I became a professional singer in 1982 and performed in many different countries. I lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for 20 years and 4 years ago moved to France, which is my current home and probably my forever one. I have always been creative and love to paint in many different styles, particular collage and mixed-media. My first paintings were mostly dogs and cats because I love animals. Since discovering the joy of abstract and expressionist art I feel I have truly found my voice. I love the freedom, spontaneity and energy of this type of art.
