Description
This photo was taken by my husband while I was painting upstairs.
Painting Title: Quiet Time Corner
Upstairs in my living room, there is a table in the corner. A few plants are laid out on the table, actually with lots of books in reality. The corner place is where I sit in the morning. There with a cup of hot strong coffee with lots of milk, I think, read, contemplate, and pray.
The plants are very pretty when sunlight gets into the room.
The pink Orchid my husband brought me last Valentines Day, two roses on a vase, an innominate plant my friend Sara gave me, and the plant supposed to live in the desert Sunni gave me years ago, they are there to greet me in the morning.
I also had three African violates I grew out of leaves. Those I placed on a bench so I could move them back and forth toward the sun. I also grow green onions that I use for cooking.
The corner was inviting and I wanted to paint them. But I didnt have enough room upstairs to set up my portable studio. I brought a big wooden easel and positioned next to stairs, heavy traffic area. Lol. I placed 30x40 in canvas, pallet knives, and oh my goodness all the paints.
Faris, my dog, usually sits nearby when I paint down stairs didnt know what to think perhaps.
Hes been so careful walking around the easel and light cords. He occasionally smells the paints. He is being used to these. But after I applied thick painting, I found his tale being very colorful. His left ear was orange and his tale was red. I moved the easel as high as I could, but being a tall dog, his tale still could reach the canvas.
