A fairly quick sketch of a belly dancer doing a hip circle with her right hip. The dancer mimics the circular movement with her hand to accentuate the hip movement. She points her left arm and has her gaze in that direction purposefully to draw your attention to her right hip that is doing a hip circle (rolling her hip up, out, down and back to the starting position in one fluid movement). The fold in her skin above her right hand is accenting the start of the hip circle as the hip has to go up before going out and around.

Jani is an award winning water media and graphite artist who specializes in horses and people, but can paint or draw anything. Many of her watercolor paintings have pastel and/or India ink added.
