Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Randi Shenkman
Randi Shenkman specializes in street/documentary photography and fine art photography. Her work has been widely exhibited including at the Tang Museum, Saratoga Springs, NY, and in juried shows in New England, New York, Paris, and Miami. She has published four books of photography, most recently, Los Cubanos. She has won awards at juried shows and many of her pieces are in private collections. Photography has been Randi Shenkman’s mode of creative expression. While studying in Paris long ago, an artist friend taught her the basics of 35mm photography. Used Yashica in hand, she practiced her new craft all over the city. By the time she returned home, she thought she was pretty good (she was still young and naïve) and somehow...
