About Bob Crawford
I was raised in California in Hollywood and moved to Indiana in 1963. I have been drawing since the age of seven yrs old. I won a prize in the Palm Springs Open Art Show with the pencil drawing of "The Old Cobbler". Thereafter, I did not have much of an opportunity to pursue my art because I chose to join the Marine Corps. Later, I needed to work to support my family. I am currently retired from Ford Motor Company after 38 years. When I worked at Ford, I didn't get much chance to draw and paint but now that I'm retired, I have lots of time to draw and paint. At 52, I went to Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, IN. While working full time, I made straight A's as a student. Now that I have resumed my passion in painting and drawing, I...
