I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.
This romantic view of the prairies is located in Alberta a few miles west of Okotoks. The giant boulder in this image is called Big Rock (ohkotok in the Blackfoot language). It is a glacial erratic that was left here as the glaciers receded during the last ice age. The stone seems quite out of place in the middle of the flat prairies. For centuries, it was used by indigenous people as a landmark pointing the way to fresh water. Today, the site draws tourists; like our own accidental Stonehenge. It is an impressive site and has a very mysterious aura, which I've tried to convey with this image.
For the best possible result, I recommend printing my color images on Somerset Velvet paper, which is a surface that gives these works an impressive fine art feeling. My black and white images will look best on Cool Tone Picture Rag: a surface that really shows off the subtle variety of tones. The Premium Archival Matte paper is a very nice choice as a lower-cost alternative for any of my artworks. ABOUT ME: I've been making art for thirty years, during which time I've created a wide variety of paintings, sculptures, drawings and performance artworks. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Regina in 1990 and my Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Calgary in 1995. I've received numerous awards...
