Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia,Canada.At the north end of the Island, on the world-famous Cabot Trail in October, 2006. As we drove onto slightly higher ground I looked across as dusk was approaching , and saw the wonderful display of white birches with the leaves turning in color. Not having explored wind movement in nature before, I wanted to highlight the feeling of coolness and dampness that tells the viewer winter is coming. Acrylic on Canvas.
