This Bird on a Wire painting is dedicated to Otis L Stanley, who most of you know here on FAA. (Check out his work). I painted this for Otis and he will receive the original this week. I waited to post it till he saw it first. This is a thank you gift to him because of his visionary art work and the gift that he has given to me and my high school art students. I was inspired by a CD also that he made which inspired this image in my soul. The bird represents Otis and also any other artists that leep off the wire and spread droplets of creativity to all the birds still below. I know many of you inspire others with your art. Otis has an almost prophetic vision in his work and more than that he has the heart to take the time

I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time. Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT"S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works...
