About Turea Grice
My name is Turea Grice, I sign my work "Midge" (my nickname from childhood) and sometimes sign on as AKMIDGE. I am a self taught artist and work mostly in pastel and pastel pencil. I prefer the subjects of children and animals. Both wildlife and Pets. I grew up in Montana and now live in another beautiful state, Alaska, where I am lucky to have a lot of wildlife out my door. My goal is to start promoting my work and maybe it will be a retirement plan. I enjoy viewing the works of other artists, which inspires me to do more. I wish to start dabbling in acrylics. I think I would enjoy that medium and maybe it will be more forgiving. I hope you enjoy my work, and feel free to review it. I have tick skin and appreciate honesty.
