Stationed in Debden England, the 334th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group received their P-51 Mustangs in in 1944. Sporting a distinctive red nose and a tremendous array of pin-up nose art, the 334th FS had a total of nearly 400 victories against the German Luftwaffe. Lt. Marvin Arthur initially took command of the P-51D "Davey Lee", but would quickly get his own personal ship which he quickly referred to as "Blondie", named after his wife. Blondie P-51 displayed the outstanding nose art of Sgt. Don Allen - who painted most of the nose art for the 334th Fighter Squadron. Lt. Arthur finished the war 1.5 victories. Crew Chief D.
