This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel βShirleyβ is very thought provoking to me personally.

I am very pleased with the quality of the product, and the gift recipient loved it and brought them to tears as it was a sentimental gift.

Wonderful photograph with a great image, Shoal. I'm sorry that your daughter is a Type 1 diabetic. So much more is known about Diabetes, as well as more treatment options, today than years ago. With family and peer support, good endocrinologists and medical support, young Diabetics fortunately can live long and fulfilling lives. I pray that your daughter 'controls' her disease and continues to do great! F/L
Shoal Hollingsworth replied:
Thank you Morris, she was diagnosed at such an early age it is just a part of her. She amazes me daily with how she deals with it with such ease.
Sharon Mayhak
Outstanding capture, Shoal! I'm so sorry your daughter has Type I. I had a cousin who was diagnosed when she was about 4 or 5. My mother had Type 2 and the medications to treat it gave her all sorts of condition which eventually lead to her death. This is NOT a disease to take lightly by those who don't understand it.
Shoal Hollingsworth replied:
Thank you Sharon. It is really awful but she is doing great with it. I am sorry to hear about your Mother
Shelley Wallace Ylst

Nobody likes shots, but right now with what is happening in the world with COVID, I go to bed every night and pray that we will all get a shot soon with a vaccine to protect us. Shots are not fun . . . but I'm glad we have them!!! . . . .fv

Thank you Karen. I completely agree and am looking forward to that shot
