This photograph of crabapple tree blossoms was taken from a tree in my front yard. The trees were beautiful as the blossoms opened up this year and the smell was wonderful. Soon the blossoms will fall and the small crabapples will grow and begin to be food for the variety of birds that we have here in northern Illinois.
