About the Image

Blue Dunes by Adam Romanowicz

This image of Saudi Arabia shows a great sea of linear dunes in part of the Rub' al Khali, or the Empty Quarter. Acquired on June 25, 2000, the image covers an area 37 kilometers (23 miles) wide and 28 kilometers (17 miles) long in three bands of the reflected visible and infrared wavelength region. About the Artist - Adam Romanowicz

Adam Romanowicz

Follow me on Facebook Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Adam Romanowicz always had a fascination with the artistic and abstract world. These passions only reinforce Adam's love of photography, allowing him to show others the world through his eyes. Shooting the world since 1997, Adam strives to create a strong sense of place in his travel related fine art photographs. The idea is to make the viewer feel that they are literally standing in the image rather than just looking...
