Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Boathouse Row -- Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, this picturesque grouping of boathouses erected by individual rowing clubs, came into existence to serve the recreational needs of early 19th-century Philadelphia. The erection of a Waterworks and Dam had altered the Schuylkill River that flowed through the city’s Fairmount Park, into a very long freshwater lake that became one of the finest rowing courses available in the United States. Along its eastern shore, individual rowing clubs erected their own boathouses in a variety of architectural styles. The four shown bathed in midday sunlight in this watercolor sketch, exhibit designs of considerably more interest than typical utilitarian buildings at that time.
Joseph Levine was born in New York during the Great Depression of the 1930s, and studied painting at the Cooper Union Institute under Sicilian-born master Jon Corbino (1905-1964), who founded the school of Baroque-Romanticism in America. From him, Joe acquired the technique of approaching the making of artwork “from the inside-out,” rather than drawing an arbitrary outline and then attempting to fill it in. A 30-year career in business as president of a textile manufacturing company in Philadelphia sidetracked his lifelong pursuit of art, after which he resumed where he had left off, studying at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art with various instructors. He joined the Philadelphia Plein Aire Painters, a group of fellow retirees who...
