Ray Bourque was a solid force for Boston for twenty-one seasons (1979-2000), famous for combining offensive prowess at a level that few defencemen in league history had ever achieved – he was a perennial shot accuracy champion at All-Star Games—and near-unparalleled defensive excellence. The Bruins' reliance on his on-ice mastery was so total that—while Bourque was very durable throughout much of his career—the team was seen by many to flounder whenever he was out of the lineup.

In April 1975, Dave Olsen's first cartoon was published in the Daily Times Chronicle in Woburn, Massachusetts. At the time Dave was a junior at Woburn High School, in Woburn, MA. This was the beginning to his career in art. His creations including, cartoons, illustrations and championships posters have appeared in daily and weekly newspapers throughout New England as well as across the United States for the past consecutive 35 years. Being an artist in Massachusetts has given him exposure in such newspapers as: The Boston Herald, Boston Globe, Lawrence Eagle Tribune, Providence Journal and The Daily Times Chronicle, Woburn, Ma.
