This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

About Dave Olsen
In April 1975, Dave Olsen's first drawing was published in the local newspaper. At the time Dave was a junior in High School. This was the beginning to his career in art. His creations including, cartoons, illustrations and championships posters have appeared in daily and weekly newspapers throughout New England as well as across the United States for the past consecutive 35 years. Being an artist in Massachusetts has given him exposure in such newspapers as: The Boston Herald, Boston Globe, Lawrence Eagle Tribune, Providence Journal and The Daily Times Chronicle, Woburn, Ma.
