Bubbling Surf is a 12 x 12 inch acrylic seascape in a slightly abstracted style. Detailed realist style painting techniques were replaced with creative and careful use of media to simulate the light, reflection, water transparency, sparkle of sand and other properties of the sea. the effect is very different and much more immediate than a flat painted picture. People viewing the original describe it as "realer than realism"
