This art did not translate well in this printed card. The foreground detail does not show well, unfortunately. I do love the art itself.

I'm not sure this artwork can be accurately replicated in this format. I may try ordering it as a print to see if that will work better.

The South Shore of Nova Scotia is the coastal area running from Halifax, the capital city, and ending at the southern end of the Province in the area around Shelburne, Barrington and many other small fishing communities. The shore road, route 3, is called the Lighthouse Route because it meanders through many coves, harbours and villages, and of course there's lots of lighthouses. Closer to the southern end you'll find the LeHave Island group, a few miles off the beaten track, with magnificent sandy beaches and little places like Bush Island, shown here. Built around a sheltered cove to be safe from Atlantic Ocean storms, the lobster boats have a protected place to store their traps on the wharves and to unload their catch after a days fishing. Little bridges connect the islands and a visit will carry you back to the time when the area was first settled around 1632. History comes alive in Nova Scotia!

Almost all of my images are of Canada, though I probably specialize more on the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts and the...
