This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

This Original Piece is approx. 20x27" on a Medium weight Bristol Board (paper).
This is done in a splashy technique with energy from approach and paint (marker). I work from photos I take at an annual car show here in Colorado.
About Evelyn Sprouse Rowe
I am a Colorado artist that works in an abstract realist style with emphasis in color...and loves discovery. “I love to let the painting paint itself when working in the more abstract style and then take charge a little more when I want the subject rendered more literally-yet consistently maintaining the ‘looseness’ I strive to honor.” My works range in multiple media- watercolor, acrylic, collage and sometimes a combination. The subject matter is varied also. “It’s about making different statements about many things, very individual statements.” I have been drawing, painting, and collaging since a young child. I can recall how exciting it was to draw cartoon figures on construction paper, cut away the line, mount it on black...

My husband , the car guy, says he thinks 56 or 57...it s hard to say...just a few differences between them I guess... I take photos at the local car events, show etc. guess I should label photos for better reference etc...

I just have to paint that way...and the cars are like eye candy or flowers...and I have to say my husband, being a car guy, encourages my work in this direction too.
