This is a scan from an old slide that I shot while at school in Chicgao either during 1985 or 86. The extreme angle was thanks to an old Minolta 17mm lens I used to walk around the city with. Modern computers have allowed me to manipulate the photo and get a new look out of an old image.
Photography nut since I was young. 2 years at The American Academy of Art in Chicago. 2 jobs working for commercial photographers before becoming a photographer at a medium sized studio. I learned so much in those 6 years by working with 3 very talented photographers. I've worked for myself since 1997.
The photos on this site are from time I spend enjoying photography out of the studio. Looking for something new in a place I've shot before is always a fun challenge. I'll be a photographer until they pry the camera from my cold dead hands. I know I'm one very lucky person, because I do what I love, and love what I do.
I hope you enjoy the images I've put up and I'll add more as I get them.
