Beautiful night image of the famed historic Chicago Water Tower. This structure was built in 1869 and was one of the few structures to survive the Great Chicago Fire of October 1871. The 154' tower made of Joliet limestone has been a landmark ever since the Great Fire.
Steve Gadomski has been a professional photographer in Chicago, Illinois since 1989. He learned his craft at the College of Du Page and has furthered his art by studying under photographers John Paul Caponogro, Joe McNally and Scott Kelby. He has worked as a stringer(freelance photojournalist) for 10 years and learned how to tell stories with the camera. Today, he is employed as a staff photographer at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Duties include clinical, p.r. and portrait image making.
