This image is actually a photograph of a small piece of a wall taken in Antigua, Guatemala. The chipped layers of paint reminded me of the gobstoppers I would bite into as a child to reveal the variety of color layers inside. This is neither a painting nor a reproduction of someone elses work (except someone did paint the building!) Take a closer look.
The world is a fascinating place, and I spend a lot of time looking around out in it. When I can, I photograph things that resonate with me. When I feel like it, I post a few of those images here. If you should feel moved to say something...please feel free.
