Artist's Description
"Without great solitude no serious work is possible. ~ Pablo Picasso
A black and white photograph that was taken in September 2011 from Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. A very tranquil area along the beachfront with private piers in the background that are used by the base commanders. There is a very surreal calm in this place.
There is a textured finish to the photograph that is better seen through the High Resolution Preview.

About Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography
Welcome to Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography. My primary goal is to share art and photography that matters, or just clicks somewhere in your soul. I choose to stay away from being typecast in one style, theme, or stereotype. I prefer to dabble in a variety of scenes and venues. But I think you'll find that I have a fondness of the great outdoors. Perhaps we need to pause a bit longer and enjoy a hot beverage and a bit of conversation along the way. That seems to be a lost art in a day where everything is moving far too fast. Click the Collection of your choice and begin your journey. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by pressing the Contact button. (C) ALL GLENN MCCARTHY ART IS COPYRIGHT PROTECTED....

A special thanks to everyone who has stopped in to leave a supportive comment on "Choctawatchee Bay - Florida". I have a great fondness for scenes like this that are destitute of human intervention... in the moment. God Bless ~ Glenn McCarthy
