My older sister gave me this cat which has been a faithful door stopper for many years and felt it should enjoy it's 'moment of fame' by being my model for this painting. I added the flowers that have been around almost as long as 'Cicero' and the orb my grandchildren used as a bowling ball game with their own rules.
Then with my filbert brush loaded with juicy, vibrant oil paint I painted with all the energy I had and it was loads of fun and 'Cicero' never even purred.
