I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

A circus, to me is a sublime collection of the beautiful and the hideous. In addition, being both a timeless celebration and an out of date relic make it more than worthy subject matter. My last drawing about banks and the economy made my little girl frown when she saw it. I decided to keep my next work lighthearted in the hopes of making her smile... it worked (though the tiger still frightened her).
