This is the view from Naval Square looking downtown Philly. I called it "City Blocks" because I liked the idea of showing the buildings as blocks of color. Like the blocks you would play with when you were a kid.
About Marita McVeigh
Marita�s interest in art began after leaving her career in International Banking to raise her family. (in the 1980�s) After receiving a set of oil paints as a birthday gift from her husband and experimenting with them she instantly knew that she wanted to have this creative outlet in her life. She began taking adult education classes in painting and drawing where she met artist Ellen Hall who encouraged her talents. She has been painting and studying with Ellen Hall and the Ivyland Art Group since 1995; in addition she enrolled at Montgomery County Community College majoring in Fine Arts.
