This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Two strangers share a lunch time space on the pier. One to catch fish, the other to enjoy the spring weather and watch, the big ships and tugboats cruise by.
About Bob Orsillo
A Life in Light and Shadow Bob Orsillo has always been drawn to the power of light and shadow. This fascination manifested in a dual pursuit: the meticulous precision of photography and the grand storytelling of cinematography. As both a photographer and a cinematographer, Bob has carved a unique path in the artistic world. Orsillo's journey began with photography, capturing still moments that resonated with a deeper truth. He developed a keen eye for composition, using light and shadow to evoke emotions and tell stories within a single frame. This foundation in photography informs his work as a cinematographer, where he orchestrates moving landscapes of light and shadow to bring narratives to life on the screen. As a cinematographer,...

I like the idea of 'The Shoe Leather Express'. One see so much more travelling this way. I love the dramatic perspective of the lowering cloud formation and the ripples made by the wind on the water. The position of the figures in this rather surreal landscape and the ship cruising enigmatically in the distance make for a beautifully balanced composition. Brilliant photography!
Bob Orsillo replied:
Rusty thanks so much. You are right the world looks so different from the she leather express. So many interesting people.

I has a very British, 1960ties feeling...like in the Tony Richardson and the other Angry Young Men movies...Richard Burton, Claire Bloom, etc. comes to mind... Nice! SU, fav and v.
Bob Orsillo replied:

Madeline Ellis
Bob, I like this a lot. The woman looks as if she is staring off into another world while the man is in the here and now looking at her before he casts his rod into the waters. The boat completes the triangle.

Madeline - Thank you so much! :)
