Carlo Olkeriil completed his Bachelor of Science from Portland State University, where he studied painting, sculpture, and photography. After graduating, he moved to Astoria, Oregon where he started making his unique storyboard woodcarvings. Carlo had worked predominantly in wood and his process contemporary arts of folklore, myth, legend, architecture and landscape to combine with his strong traditional woodcarving technique. He is mostly engages his collection of visual experiences to create a natural illustrated setting of the valley, river, mountain and the sea for his work.
