I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

In a little open air restaurant in Kathmandu Nepal, I had my first experience with the small disposable fired-clay yogurt cups that I would be eating from a lot while in Nepal. The man who served the yogurt cup to me said that the yogurt was actually cooked in the sealed cup when it was fired. As I was the one to break the seal, yogurt from these cups was one of the safest things for me to eat in Nepal, where even the supposedly clean water could be very dangerous. Curious to see how this ancient process of preserving yogurt was accomplished, I sought-out the potter who made these little one-time-use yogurt cups. He was very happy to have his cups and himself photographed. He explained that his cups and bowls could be thrown away and would become again the clay that they were made from. He said that paper and plastic cups and other expensive western things were destroying Nepal, but that his clay was free, and so he could make non-polluting disposable clay cups and bowls that eve...
