Artist's Description
This was the last Engineering feat of Isambard Kingdom Brunel started in 1831 and finished in 1864, it has a span of 702 1/4 ft and stand 245ft above the Avon Gorge at high tide, remarkably only 2 workmen died in its constuction. Brunel died in 1859 so never saw its completion.

It is with great sadness that we update this bio with the news that Tony passed away this summer 2021, after many years of fighting illness I as his Wife will be maintaining Tonys art site in memoriam, as his talents should not go unseen. Tony Williams 1944-2021 I first picked up a paintbrush in 2007, thinking that it would be a nice retirement hobby, and quickly became hooked on watercolours. I thought that I would always would be a Leisure painter, but my Paintings have received acclaim and interest from all around the World, resulting in a number of sales, which has surprised and delighted me. But for me painting is fun and I want to keep it...
