This painting is similar to Clockwork Butterfly No. 8. but on a much larger canvas and with much more detail. And this version uses a different type of color balance. Instead of mixing gray into the background colors to make the butterfly "pop," I used unbleached titanium to achieve a similar effect, but with more brightness to the painting overall.
