These colorful old glass bottles, sitting in the antique shop window, really caught my eye. From the outside they were lovely ... I was so glad the shop was open as I was pretty sure the light would really give them a glow, if only I could see them from the right angle. I was lucky ... I got a good case of the "Ooo something shiny!"'s that afternoon for sure!!
Discovered in the Berkeley Springs Antique Mall near the corner of South Washington Street and Fairfax Street, Berkeley Springs, West Virginia in April, 2016.
Image hand-painted, digitally, and inspired by one of my own photos. Painted in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and a variety of beautiful brushes.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence.
