Little League Baseball Team Action Sports Art is one of my favorite subjects.
In this sports action watercolor portrait, although the subject is not moving, the feeling of movement is created in the impressionistic background. I tried to capture the excitement of the moment in the detailed realism in the boy's face. This was a commissioned piece painted from a photo taken by the boy's dad at his baseball game.
