I am a native of Louisiana, or originally from Plaquemine, after high school I attended University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette as a Fine Arts Major. My first employment was the Louisiana Department of Highways as the second female draftsman be hired in Road Design. I have worked for 30 years in the engineering field. My family has lived in Louisiana since the 1700's Pierre Joseph Landry an early Louisiana artist was my great, great grandfather. Art has always been a part of our families we have all done art work. After college I married and had 2 daughters. When my husband died in 1989 of ALS I started painting again and devoting more time to my art which has continued to this day.
