About the Image

Cotton Candy by Cindy Lee Longhini

This is a very colorful, happy piece from my Luminescence collection. It reminds me of flowing cotton candy and of going to the local fair when I was a child.

About the Artist - Cindy Lee Longhini

Cindy Lee Longhini

My first career was that of a registered nurse; after 15 years working as a health professional I decided to become a stay-at-home mom for my two children. Always having been an artist of sorts; prior to nursing school I had been a stained glass artist for many years and have always "dabbled" in creative endeavors. It wasn't until I started taking drawing and painting classes several years ago that I discovered my love for painting, which I have been immersed in ever since. I have sold work while exhibiting in area art shows, restaurants and local galleries. I love nature, the outdoors and the ocean, so a lot of my work reflects that; I also love to inject humor and whimsy into my paintings when the mood strikes...
