The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My dad was a medic during WWII and he was often right in the mist of the fighting. He spent his spare time drawing what he had witnessed during this time. These are a reminder of what war is all about. This art is now a part of the Air Force Art Collection that was started in 1950.
